I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors Degree in Art Education and a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art. I have a USAT&F level I & II coaching certification also.

I have been a teacher for 18 years. Most of my experience comes from within the Georgetown County School District as I have taught at Andrews High School, Georgetown Middle & High School, and Carvers Bay High School. I began my teaching and coaching career in Ohio. I coached football for 18 years and this will be my 21st season as a track & field coach.

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I attended The Ohio State University where I earned Bachelor's degrees in both, Fine Art and Art Education. I was also a member of the Buckeye football team and a sprinter for the track & field team. I taught art, was a freelance artist, and coached football and track and field in Ohio for five years. I moved to South Carolina in 2001 where I have continued to teach, coach, and paint. I have worked at each high school in Georgetown County. My hobbies and interests include, art, fitness, anything relating to the beach, music, traveling, and being an advocate for animals, especially dogs. I reside in Surfside Beach, with my wife, our 4 dogs, cat, and 3 fish.
